Insurance Information
The Psychology Collective is primarily a private pay practice. This allows for the utmost personalization in your care.
Dr. Allen is an in network provider with the following insurance provider for individual therapy services only:
Aetna (via Headway)
Please note that Dr. Allen does not accept insurance for couples therapy services. All couples therapy services are self pay regardless of insurance provider.
Insurance Billing Policies
In Network (Aetna)
It is the client’s responsibility to understand their insurance benefits and to obtain any necessary preauthorizations for treatment. Aetna insurance will only be accepted via the Headway platform.
Out of Network
Dr. Allen is out of network with all other insurance providers. For individual therapy services, client’s will be provided with a superbill, upon request, to submit to their insurance provider for any personal reimbursement.
Please ensure that all reimbursement is directed to you and not to The Psychology Collective.
Non Participating Status
Dr. Allen is non participating with insurance providers and will not engage in any disputes, contact, or conflicts with insurance providers on the behalf of clients. It is the client’s responsibility to understand their insurance benefits accurately.
Unaccepted Plans
At this time, Dr. Allen is unable to work with clients who have Medicare or Medicaid insurance plans.
Multi Practice Disclosure
Dr. Allen provides care at multiple practice locations. When you submit a superbill for reimbursement, it is your responsibility to ensure that the reimbursement is directed to you and not to Dr. Allen or any other practices that she contracts with.
